Interactive Maps

Interactive, web-based mapping tool contains an increasing number of datasets useful for creating customized maps to suit user requirements. The idea of interactive maps is to facilitate you to select the data you require for your specific project, and create a custom map suited to your specific needs.

At present, the mapping tool has a wealth of data that include administrative boundaries, roads and railways, agriculture, water bodies, cities and towns, peaks and forests, soil, population, contours, annual rainfall and food security. New layers will be added in the near future.

Additional data of high resolution including places, buildings, administrative boundaries and roads are available for the District of Jaffna.

The interactive mapping tool will be launched in a separate window. Please note that it will take some time to load. The tool works faster when you zoom into a specific area of interest.
